Lunch with the Hon. Daniel Andrews MP – Premier of Victoria

The Rural Press Club of Victoria recently held a luncheon with the Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews.
More than 120 club members, sponsors and supporters heard Mr Andrews speak on issues important to rural and regional Victorians at the State Library of Victoria on June 28.

In particular, Mr Andrews thanked the regional media industry for their work and support during the COVID-19 pandemic and also shared his vision for the industry.

There was also an engaging Q&A session where media professionals were given the opportunity to ask questions.

Rural Press Club of Victoria president Bryce Eishold thanked Mr Andrews for his support of the club.

“It gave journalists and photographers an hour-long opportunity to hear the Premier’s vision for rural and regional Victoria ahead of the 2022 state election,” Mr Eishold said.

“Thank you to our sponsors, members and the guests who supported this event and to the State Library of Victoria who hosted the luncheon.”

Mr Eishold also thanked ABC Victorian state political reporter Bridget Rollason for her work as emcee, as well as the RPCV committee members who organised the luncheon.
