Recently returned from the Middle East, Cattle Council of Australia’s new president Andrew Ogilvie addressed the Rural Press Club breakfast on the 9 March.

Mr Ogilvie was part of a delegation of industry representatives and exporters who joined Federal Agriculture Minister Joe Ludwig when he briefed importers and governments in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar on the Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) in late January.

A South Australia beef producer, Mr Ogilvie shared his experiences and his general outlook for Australia’s cattle industry with breakfast attendees.
