Journalist and Photographer Awards Finalists Revealed

2022 Annual Awards

The Weekly Times, Shepparton News and Loddon Herald will vie for the prestigious media outlet of the year title at this year’s Rural Press Club of Victoria Rural and Regional Journalism and Photography Awards.

The RPCV has announced the finalists in 14 categories today ahead of the Rural and Regional Journalism and Photography Awards Night in Ballarat on Friday 30 September.

The finalists and winners of the prestigious Journalist of the Year, Ray Frawley Young Journalist of the Year and Photographer of the Year awards will be announced at awards night.

The awards recognise the best work of 2021–22.

Rural Press Club of Victoria president Bryce Eishold said the club was excited to have an in-person event for the first time in three years.
