The Rural Press Club of Victoria will host The Hon. John Pesutto MP, Leader of the Victorian Opposition, for a lunch in Melbourne next month.
Press club members and supporters, join us to hear the Victorian Coalition leader speak on issues important to regional and rural Victorians.
About John Pesutto
Originally from Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley, Mr Pesutto studied law and commerce at the University of Melbourne.
He worked as a lawyer and consultant before making the move to politics, where he served as a senior advisor to premiers Ted Baillieu and Denis Napthine.
He was first elected to the Victorian Parliament as the Member for Hawthorn in 2014 for a single term before regaining his seat at the 2022 election. He was elected leader of the Victorian Liberal Party in December 2022.
